Over the last 5 years as a Registered Dietitian I’ve heard my clients’ struggles with health and nutrition. Is This Program Right For Me If I’m Generally Healthy, But I Want To Lower My Risk Of Cardiovascular Disease & stay healthy?

Absolutely! The Essentials is a perfect guide for anyone trying to lower their risk of developing chronic diseases and staying healthy. Prevention is the best medicine! 

Is this program right for me if I have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or am at risk of developing these conditions?

You might be here because you’ve been told by your Doctor you should follow a heart healthy diet. And this is exactly why I’ve created this program – To coach women on how to follow a heart healthy diet! The strategies I cover are science-based, and help people achieve lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and better blood sugar control. 

However, this course is NOT meant to be medical nutrition therapy, or a replacement for medications or medical advice. I won’t be reviewing your personal blood work or medical records, or tailoring the advice to manage multiple health conditions, or consulting with your medical team. You should always consult with your medical team before implementing dietary changes. Please speak with your Doctor if you’re not sure if this program is right for you. 

Will I Lose Weight On This Program?

Weight is only one marker of success in following a healthy diet, and it is one “side-effect” you might experience by following The Essentials program. However weight loss is not the focus of this program. Instead, we focus on making healthy and sustainable diet changes that will last a lifetime, managing food cravings, and choosing foods that nourish our bodies and hearts. This program is definitely not for someone looking for a crash diet!

How long do I have access to the program materials for?

You have access to all of the videos led by Samantha from this program for 1 year from the date of purchase, so you can take your time and complete each module at your own pace. 

All downloadable digital materials are yours to keep forever! Just simply download and save them to your computer, or print them out to refer to them whenever you need a refresher. 

How long does it take to complete the entire program?

There are 10 sessions total in this program, each with weekly action items/goals to complete. One video module is released every week, over the course of 10 weeks. But the program is meant to be completed at your own pace, that’s why you have access to all of the videos for 1 year from the date of purchase! 

Everyone is at different stages of how ready they are to make diet changes, so although the program is created with the intention of weekly check-ins over the course of 10 weeks, you can choose to take extra time between each session if you’re still working on implementing the action items from a previous week.

What if I have questions or need extra support during the program?

Every program participant will automatically get access to the private Facebook community to ask questions, share support, and talk about struggles with other participants. This private group will also have dietitian-lead Question & Answer sessions.
